Hello chemists,

Attached is the summer work for completion ahead of the course start in September.

There are 12 sets of practice questions and the accompanying mark schemes.

We have chosen these topic areas as they are key to understanding higher level content at A level. In addition, many of them come from TRIPLE ONLY content and so are ESSENTIAL for students joining us from COMBINED science who will not have met them before.

Each document contains easy, medium and hard questions. You only need to complete ONE of these sections for each document.

As a guide I would suggest if you are joining us at:​​

level 8-9 GCSE, complete the hard section​​​​

level 7 GCSE, complete the medium section​​

level 6 GCSE, complete the easy section​​

It is expected that you would complete the questions and mark them using the Mark scheme. This can be done digitally or the appropriate pages can be printed.

Please bring this with you in the first weeks so it can be checked by your teacher.
